The West Virginia Asthma Coalition (WVAC) is a group of volunteers from across the state who have an interest in helping reduce the burden of asthma in W.Va.; for information about joining the WVAC, click on the partners tab above and then the WVAC tab.

Mission

The mission of the West Virginia Asthma Education and Prevention Program is to develop, implement, and evaluate a statewide strategic asthma plan in the interest of reducing the health and economic consequences attributed to asthma in West Virginia.

The Asthma Quarterly Report

The Asthma Quarterly Report formally known as Breathe in the Mountains is a quarterly newsletter produced by the West Virginia Asthma Education and Prevention Program and the West Virginia Asthma Coalition. The Asthma Quarterly Report contains new information on asthma including new guidelines for treatment and diagnosis, new medications, Asthma Coalition activities, and other featured articles.
